Oak House goes greener!

Oak House School is now part of the Catalan Network of Sustainable Schools (XESC) http://www.xesc.cat/xesc/index.php

Pupils journeyed to the town hall in Pl. Sant Jaume and presented our project to the Mayor in the Saló de Cent.

The project aims to compost waste from our kitchen and use it to grow food for the chef to cook with.

The plan is to reduce the waste we generate and the resources we use.

Una representación de nuestros alumnos presentaron nuestro proyecto en el Saló de Cent del Ayuntamiento de Barcelona.

Este proyecto tiene como finalidad producir abono a partir de desechos orgánicos de la cocina y de hojas del colegio.

Es nuestra pequeña aportación a la conservación del medio ambiente.
